Can We Bring Back Magazines?

There is something so magical about magazines that I don't think we've ever been able to replace.

Maybe it was taking quizzes that somehow knew us better than ourselves, circling the clothes we knew we'd never actually buy, or ripping out the pages and taping them on our bedroom walls. Every issue felt like a time capsule. It wasn't just something we read it was something you experienced.

Today, everything is just so instant. We scroll for a couple of seconds, like a few post, forget it, and move on. Trends disappear overnight. Articles are replaced by those 30- second videos. We consume so much content that almost none of it actually stays.

Magazines are different.

They were made to slow you down. You flipped through every page because you never knew what you'd find on the next page. A playlist to obsess over, a celebrity interview. A fashion spread that would influence your wardrobe for months on end. A relationship column that felt like it was written just for you. Even the advertisements has some sort of personality.

I want to have the excitement of waiting for a new issue to arrive. The feeling of holding something that was designed with care instead of an algorithm that is deciding what i should see next.

Imagine if magazines were to come back not exactly as they were before, but updated to fit today. A place where people could tell real stories , share style inspirations, recommend music, write honest advice, and create something that is worth keeping instead of something that would just disappear after twenty- four hours.

Maybe that's why i started this blog

I wanted to create the feeling of opening your favorite magazine again. A place with playlists, columns, confessions, fashion finds, movies, and the little moments that make you want to stop scrolling for a while. Something that feels personal instead of something perfectly curated.

Maybe magazines never disappeared.

Maybe they just changed forms.

And maybe it's time that we bring them back one page at a time

Until next time pretty little crisis, DIVA
