There are nights when the world is the most quite, but my mind is anything but. It's funny how the questions we tend to avoid during the day always finds a way to reach us after midnight. Am i falling behind? Did i make the right choice? What if i never am able to become the person i imagine I'll be?.
We spend so much of our time wishing those thoughts would just disappear. We call them overthinking, anxiety, or another one of life's "Pretty little crises". But maybe they're actually trying to tell us something.
What if the things keeping us up at night aren't what actually haunts us? What if they're trying to quietly point us towards the like we're meant to build? Maybe the fears of failure means that we care deeply about our dreams. Maybe the uncertainty means that we're standing at the edge of something new. Or maybe the questions themselves are proof that we're just growing.
In reality no one has everything figured out, no matter how polished a persons life may look online. Behind every confident person is someone who has stayed up at night wondering if they are good enough. Growth rarely arrives with certainty. It more often shows up ins change, uncomfortable questions, and disguised as doubt.
So tonight, instead of trying to fight every thought, try to listen. Not because every worry deserves your attention, but because some of them are reminders of the person that you're becoming. They're pushing you to love harder, dream bigger, and keep going even when you don't have all the answers.
Maybe growing up isn't about finally being able to sleep peacefully every night. Maybe it's about learning which one of your thoughts deserve your energy and which ones deserve to be let go.
And i just couldn't help but wonder.... What if the things that tend to keep us up at night are the very things that are helping us become who we're meant to be ?
So here's the question I'll leave you with..... what keeps you up at night, and what do you think it's trying to teach you?
i love your blog so much!!
